FAQs
What is a dry-hire?
Dry-Hire means that due to Texas state liquor laws, I am not allowed to provide, obtain, or transport alcohol directly to you for your event. This means you will be responsible for the arrangement made for the amount ordered, and delivery or pick up of the alcohol before and after the event. However, I can provide you with an itemized shopping list for the alcohol you want at your event.
What do you provide?
I can provide everything but the alcohol for your event. This includes a TABC-certified bartender, general and liquor liability insurance, a satellite bar, cups, straws, napkins, ice, mixers, water station, garnishes, rimmer salt, and other items to make your event go as seamlessly as possible. Check out our packages page for more information.
how do I contact you?
Just send me an email with all of your event information. This includes your name, phone number, email address, and details about your upcoming event. I want to know everything about your event so I can work with you on your needs. Feel free to contact me by clicking the “Request a Quote” button.
Do you serve bigger events (more than 60 people)?
At this time, I do not. I cater to and specialize in small, private events such as birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorette/bachelor parties, baby showers, small weddings, etc. with 60 people attending or less.
Do you ID?
As a TABC-certified bartender, yes I do ID. I comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including verifying the age of guests to ensure compliance with legal age requirements. Please make sure your guests are aware and ensure they bring their IDs. Please note, that I also have the right to refuse alcoholic beverages to any person who appears intoxicated. This is to ensure the safety of your guests.
what kind of cocktails do you serve?
I can provide a variety of cocktails for your event. What is most important is what kind of drinks you would like at your event. This is part of the 1:1 consultation I provide to determine what you are looking for and what specific beverages you want for your event.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please note I require a non-refundable installment payment upon booking and a fee schedule with the last installment payment being 30 days before the event date. Just send me an email for more details.
do you serve mocktails?
Of course! I understand that not everyone wants an alcoholic drink! I can provide a variety of mocktail drinks to your event if you wish! Contact me for more information so we can schedule a consult!
are you certified and insured?
Yes! I am TABC (Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission) certified and have general and liquor liability insurance. If your event is at a venue, these venues may or may not require this. Let’s talk more about your event if you have further questions about what may be required. Feel free to contact me!
Do you require tips?
Tipping is not required but is always appreciated. I can offer a digital tipping jar sign at the event for anyone who wishes to tip.
how far do you travel?
I travel within 50 miles of Lockhart, TX downtown. This means I also travel to Travis, Hays, Comal, and Bexar counties. I do incur a travel fee for any miles over the 50 miles.
